Aries is associated with the myth of “The Golden Ram”. In this myth Aries is sent by Nephele to rescue Phrixus, the son of King Athamas before being wrongly sacrificed. Aries was later sacrificed by the very Phrixus whom he was sent to rescue. This story represents Aries bravery in selfless action.
